Caring for Ada’s Children is the result of a dream of a group of Ada citizens who in 1997 attended the Oklahoma State Summit held to promote America’s Promise. Founded in 1998, CFAC led the effort in making sure that Ada became a Community of Promise. That dream was fulfilled in 2000, and now CFAC is a part of over 500 cities and communities nationwide that form America’s Promise.

In Ada and communities across the nation, citizens including parents, educators, public officials, business leaders and many others are rallying around their community’s youth. They are lending their time, talent, and treasure toward a common cause—working together to create places where kids grow up well prepared for tomorrow.

CFAC is working hard to ensure that every Ada youth has the opportunities he or she needs for positive development. We collaborate with existing agencies and, when needed, create new programs to implement the fundamental resources.

We are generously funded by The Chickasaw Nation and the City of Ada, as well as several other area corporations and individuals. We thank them all for their continuous support of Ada’s youth.
